I suck at the blogging thing, apparently. The most I can manage is reading communities and friends in lj. Ah, well.
I did take lots of photos of yarn/projects and update my ravelry notebook. So I guess that's exciting.
Progress on the linen stitch scarf continues apace (er, sort of). I began the thrummed mitts as a last-minute ravelympics project. And I'm swatching BSA Alpaca Silk for the Sidelines Top in Fall IK. Results are not encouraging at the moment.

first
I have decided to separate my knitting life from my general life (not that I have much of either); thus, I hereby inaugurate my new knitting blog.
I've decided to pick one project per person in my family to work on throughout the year, with the vague intention of having said projects gift-able by December. We'll see how that goes.
On the list thus far:
